The Guidelines
We've written these simple rules to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible using Tinyproj. If you have any questions, please let Kyle know. Last updated September 21, 2011.
If you're posting a project…
- Tinyproj is for paid, small projects with realistic budgets and timelines, that are ideally location-agnostic
- The best project descriptions are ones that are well-written, clear, and objective
- Projects encouraging spec, illegal practices, or with lowballed budgets don't belong
- We're happy to work with you to refine your pitch and budget, but reserve the right to reject projects that don't adhere to these guidelines
If you're looking for work…
- You have the right to be paid for your work and never be asked to work on spec
- Please only request an intro for a project if you're genuinely ready and willing to work on it
- It's not okay to re-post any part of the project email we send out
For everyone
- Follow up to intros in a timely fashion and in a professional manner
- Please use a contract and do your own diligence with the person or people you may be working with
- Recruiters and agencies need not apply
- If you're uncomfortable with an interaction with another Tinyproj user or project owner, please bring it to our attention
